These terms cover the use of this website and the general basis on which Lavigne's Car Audio quotes and performs work. They do not replace anything written on a specific quote, work order or invoice. Where a quote or invoice says something different, that document governs the job.
Prices shown on this website are starting prices for a common installation and are given to help you budget. They are not an offer and they do not include tax. The final price depends on the vehicle or boat, the parts chosen and the work the job actually needs, which is why every job is quoted individually.
A quote from Lavigne's Car Audio is valid for the period stated on it. Product prices and availability can change without notice, and a quote may be revised if the vehicle, boat or scope turns out to differ from what was described, or if additional work is found once panels are removed. Lavigne's Car Audio will contact you before doing work that goes beyond the agreed quote.
Lavigne's Car Audio is a destination shop. Vehicles are dropped off at 102 Booth Rd #2 and boats arrive on the trailer. Appointments are booked by phone or text at 705-410-6872, not online. Please let the shop know as early as you can if you cannot make a booked appointment.
Remove valuables and personal belongings before you drop off. Lavigne's Car Audio is not responsible for personal items left in a vehicle or boat.
A deposit may be required on special-order parts or larger jobs, and will be stated on the quote. The balance is due on completion, before the vehicle or boat leaves the shop, unless something else is agreed in writing. Financing is available through Financeit, on Financeit's own terms and subject to their approval; Lavigne's Car Audio is not the lender.
Lavigne's Car Audio stands behind the work it performs. The workmanship terms that apply to your job, including their length and what they cover, are set out on your quote, work order or invoice. Ask before the work starts if you want them confirmed in writing.
Products carry the warranty of their manufacturer. Those warranties are offered by the manufacturer, not by Lavigne's Car Audio, and are administered under the manufacturer's own terms and process. Lavigne's Car Audio will help you make a claim, but cannot extend, alter or guarantee a manufacturer's warranty.
No warranty covers damage from misuse, accident, water intrusion outside normal use, modification by someone else, or work performed elsewhere on the same system.
Where Lavigne's Car Audio agrees to install a part you supplied, the labour is warranted on the terms set out on your invoice, but the part itself is not, and Lavigne's Car Audio cannot be responsible for a part that fails, is the wrong item, or does not suit the vehicle or boat.
Vehicles and boats should be collected promptly once the work is complete and paid for. Anything left at the shop after completion is left at the owner's risk, and storage charges may apply where an item is left for an extended period after the owner has been notified that it is ready.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act or other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, Lavigne's Car Audio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its liability in connection with a job is limited to the amount paid for that job.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply in it.
